- You will be required to fast for at least 6 hours before your haemorrhoid surgery.
- Before your procedure, do not apply anything near or to your rectum, such as douches, enemas, or haemorrhoidal cream.
- You should make sure to wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment.
- Inform our doctor before the procedure of any medication or supplements that you are taking.
Post-Piles Surgery Care
- Follow our doctor’s instructions post-surgery to ensure that you have a fast recovery.
- Downtime: No physical or strenuous activities for 2 weeks. You may be required to stay in the hospital for a day or two after surgery to monitor your recovery. It takes 7-10 days to recover from a piles surgery.
