The nurses were exceptionally kind and attentive. One even asked if I wanted anything to drink and kindly served me, which was such a thoughtful touch. The nurse who explained everything in the consultation room was also very friendly, patient, and clear, making sure I understood everything.

My family member was experiencing significant pain from a lipoma that urgently needed attention. We reached out on Wednesday, and to our relief, the team managed to arrange a consultation for us on the very same day. By Friday, the surgery was completed smoothly and seamlessly.

I would like to share a very positive experience with Dr Ganesh and his team of staff for the very professional experience of my recent consultation and day surgery to remove a cyst on my upper back. The entire experience lasted about 8 weeks from my first pre surgery consultation in May’26 to day surgery till post surgery care in July’26. I had an inflamed cyst in May and it was quite bad. My GP couldn’t do much and I found Dr Ghanesh through Google. Reading most of the reviews and watching his professional videos etc. I took a chance and the rest as they say is history. From the consultations, making appointments, coordinating with hospital for day surgery, post surgery care etc. Everything was done in the best possible manner and utmost professionalism. I had an excision biopsy with Dr Ganesh, he is extremely caring towards his patients, explained me the full procedure with patience during consultation. Even during the day of the surgery he was constantly reassuring and made sure I didn't panic.

We went in for a last minute consult with the good doctor. We were told there might be a wait but we were seen within minutes. Dr. Ganesh was patient, thorough, and reassuring. He cleared up all questions from us, even repetitive anxious ones from me. He’s a kind funny dude whose demeanour we genuinely appreciated.

This is my second back cyst removal with Dr. Ganesh. My first removal in 2022 was a great experience, it was a small cyst, it healed so well and the scar almost 3 years later has lightened so much, I couldn't identify where it was despite looking very hard for it.

This time round, I came in with a huge inflamed cyst on the back. The clinic assistance was impeccable throughout my whole consult, surgery and recovery period. For a big 4cm x 4cm saucerisation procedure, with the right specified care and interval check ups, I was able to fully heal in under 5 weeks, this made me really glad!

It was very reassuring to know that I am on the right track of recovery by Dr. Ganesh and the clinic assistants every time I visit. I was happy to be taken through step-by-step for the claims process and expedition of the pre-authorization so I could do my surgery in November and heal by December. I’ve only consulted Dr Ganesh twice but both encounters were nothing short of excellent and assuring.

I was referred over from another specialist and he took a genuine interest in my health condition that was not entirely related to gastrointestinal health.

I had a cyst infection removal at my buttock area.

On 7 June, which was public holiday, I called many clinics but most never pick up the phone. To my surprise, Ms Lisa from G & L Surgical Clinic return my miss call and invite me come down for doctor consultation. She even try her best to arrange a operation room during holiday. Really appreciate her help and fast response.

After the surgery, my discharge was on the same day evening and Ms Lisa even came back to the hospital specially just to make sure everything go smoothly. Was very grateful and appreciate her help and the follow-up.

Dr Ganesh was very kind and explain everything clearly. He never rush, and take time to listen and answer all my questions. The most important is the whole surgery is very fast and painless, I didn't even feel any pain. Dr Ganesh will always make me feel calm and safe. He is very experienced and steady, and trust his skill and judgement.

Also special thanks to Nurse Serene, she came to my house twice a week to help clean the wound and change dressing. She explain the cleaning process very detail and make sure I understand how to take care the wound. She was very patient. Even after that, she will give a follow-up call to check and make sure the wound is well taken care of. She really go extra mile.

Was referral here for my inguinal hernia repair.. first visit to Dr Ganesh was a warm welcome by all the staff at the front desk and was greeted by Dr Ganesh in the room. Dr.Ganesh was the second surgeon I went to see after initially discovering my hernia. He was able to clearly layout the surgical procedure and addressed all of the concerns I had. The surgery went smoothly and after 2 weeks I was able to get back in the gym, doing around 15-20% of my regular weights.

Throughout recovery the clinic was always available to respond to my questions, sometimes as fast as a few minutes.

I have had a very pleasant experience with the team from the first call with the nurse to the actual appointment, surgery and post surgery care.

i have problem with my gastric for years and severe halitosis too. been visiting many doctors local here in my country, but mostly they said that no significant issue with my gastric.
i googling to search on any doctors in SG for second opinion and found G&L Surgical Clinic. my impression of Dr. Ganesh and the nurses is still the same from the very beginning we connect up to now. they’re very helpful and friendly.
when i could not come to their clinic for the initial consultation, they offer me an alternative to do tele consultation via Zoom before scheduling for the further checking. Dr. Ganesh did the examination thoroughly to find out the root cause and this is my first time to hear some findings that i didn’t get when i consulted with previous doctors. moreover, the medication works on me. it’s not completely solved my gastric issue and halitosis yet since i’ve just taking the medication for less than a month. but i can feel it that it’s reduced significantly.
i’m so grateful to decide coming to G&L Surgical Clinic. i’ll try my best to follow Dr. Ganesh’s suggestion to have a better lifestyle, eat food in small portion frequently, and manage stress.

It was quite undecisive to choose between private and government hospitals to do gastroscopy appt for specialist.
Government hospital got to wait till next year which have no slot at all ..

Last Friday done my gastroscopy and diagnose with GERD and gastritis and removed 2 nos of polyps inside the stomach .

It was fast procedures…about 40 mins estimated when I came out from the day surgery room.
Dr Ganesh and his staff are friendly and well mannered , one of his staff Ms Rene brought  me down to ultrasound clinic and endoscopy Center at mount elizabeth novena hospital for day surgery ward in ..
The staff nurse in hospital is also nice and friendly better than government.
But was quite expensive for the day surgery ward .. estimated bill was unexpected…
Only can claim company insurance first after co pay by myself .
Now slightly better after my gastric medication.
I got to follow up my review next week.

Experience at G&L Surgical Clinic is a whole new level! Each visit to the clinic is like going to a 5-star hotel. The service by the clinic staff is amazing! Anyone who steps in is aways greeted with smiles. I had seen a doctor under my corp. panel insurance a day before for a suspected neck lipoma. The doctor only did a visual check and told me confirmed is lipoma. No scan is required and he can schedule a surgery to remove it. I was told to call them back since I was undecisive to proceed or not.

Unconvinced, I decided to seek a 2nd opinion from Dr Ganesh (after seeing the google reviews) the next day even though his clinic is not under my corp. insurance. During the consult, Dr Ganesh did a physical check and got me to do some neck rotation so that he can check further. He is very patient as he goes through my medical history. Even though I have other medical complaints which is not under his field, he gave some advice and even direct me to other specialist who can treat my condition.

He proposed an ultrasound scan so as to have a more accurate diagnosis. What impressive me most was he said it is easy for him to perform the surgery. However, if the lump is not lipoma, then the insurance is not claimable and I will have to fork out the surgical fees from my own pockets. 2 different doctors and 2 different diagnoses. I was glad to take Gr Ganesh’s advice as the ultrasound report had turn out to be nothing serious and it had saved me the pain from going under the knife.

To a doctor, he may sound like a broken record, repeating the same thing a dozen times every day. However, to a patient, it is his first-time receiving diagnosis. Thus, it will be very reassuring if every doctor can be as patient as Dr Ganesh.

called in the clinic and managed to get same day appointment. had to wait abit but i think its worth wait. Dr ganesh is patient and keep reassuring me on my condition.He is unlike other doctor that keep prescribing medication,he keeps encouraging diet and lifestyle change ,taking more natural remedy than western medication. although what he shared is already something that i  know.but sometimes its nice to have a doctor who patiently listen to you and re enforce all these  daily habits once more.

Had a belly button infection. Was bleeding from the hole and I had no idea what was going on. Been to several doctors, GPs and polyclinics, even went to AnE and they all said it was just simple abrasion.

Then, I googled Dr Ganesh and just on the very first appointment, he looked at it and diagnosed me with 'umbilical sinus'. Something, all the previous doctors never said. He gave me some antibiotics, advice and probiotics and send me home, saying there's nothing to be worried about and it happens to some people. After afew more sessions with him, I recovered and was back to myself again.

His rates are not the cheapest, but he's definitely one of the best doctors I've ever been to. He really knows his stuff. Not forgetting his nurses and reception. They are all very friendly and polite too. Thank you again Dr Ganesh and team! :)

I wanted to call out Whitney and Rene for tending over my case last week!

I was in pain and sought for Whitney’s last Thursday, despite the full occupant’s of the hospital, she managed to ward me and ensure my situation was taken care of.

During my 5 days stay before and after op’s, the sincerity and effort made by these two ladies really graced my gratitude that I’d chosen the right doctor, an awesome clinical staff to see through and arrange the cure to my pain.

I decided to call G&L Surgical based on the reviews I saw on Google. The staff immediately scheduled me for an appointment on the same day and the abscess removal procedure 4 days later. The whole process (including pre and post procedure) was very smooth and I felt very well taken care of. The staff also helped me with my insurance claims and assisted me in my queries promptly and put me at ease. Most of all, they were very approachable and I really appreciate that they let me know I can call them for any queries even for post procedure dressing.

After suffering from dry cough for a few weeks, I only found out it was probably caused by acid reflux.
Using the keyword "acid reflux" on Google, G&L Surgical Dr. Ganesh comes up first.
Having his relaxed, cheerful, and humourous consultations helped a nervous mother like me relax more. Arrange for the gastroscopy the following day based on his advice.  In contrast to other clinics, the clinic's staff accompanied me through the whole registration process with detailed explanations. Once I have woken up from the sedation, staff accompany me for discharge and ensure all details and procedures have been completed. I was given details for the medicine given and was taken to the lobby for car pickup.
The team led by Dr. Ganesh and his staff are outstanding. While patients like me worry about their own health, they play a crucial role.
Additionally, staff pursued the release of the gastroscopy report within two days. This has really eased my mood and life without having to wait for the report.
